The Jasper County EMS Training Institution is an Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) Certified Basic Life Support Training Institution committed to developing knowledgeable, skilled, and confident emergency medical professionals while providing lifesaving education to our community.
 

EMR & EMT Certification Courses
 

JCEMS provides initial certification courses for Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-B). Our programs combine classroom education, hands-on skills training, practical scenarios, and clinical preparation designed to prepare students for entry into emergency medical services.

Upon successful completion of an approved certification course, eligible students may sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification process. Students who obtain National Registry certification may then apply for certification as an EMS provider in the State of Indiana, subject to applicable state requirements.
 

Community & Professional Training
 

In addition to initial EMS education, JCEMS offers a variety of courses for healthcare professionals, first responders, businesses, community organizations, groups, and individual members of the public. Available training includes:

• CPR & AED

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

• Stop the Bleed

• Additional community health, safety, and emergency-preparedness education as available
   

Courses may be offered at JCEMS or coordinated for local organizations and groups based on instructor availability and training needs.
